Here are a few "Doomed" haiku. I'm not sure if I'm on a Season Four Roll or in a Season Four Rut, but hey, that's just the bag I'm in right now. I blame the Hawaiian Shirt Spike doll. (And the drugs. Which, thank heavens, I'm enjoying more needing less with every passing day.)

omg! That little speech he gives them about puppies and christmas and fighting evil cracks me up everytime. Especially the vacant stare-point by Xander.

My daughter's been reciting the puppies n' christmas speech on a loop, so that one wrote itself in about three seconds.

Barbarous is such a good word. And then bloody surge roars. Excellent.

This is my favorite Spike scene ever. Poor Spike. But "motivational vampire" is great. Now up there with "pickled vampire" for me. Goggle - a word that should be used more often.

Wow, I didn't know they were "cornichon" good. That's some high praise indeed. I'm so pleased that you like them. I was stupidly excited when that middle one finally worked. "Barbarous" was definitely the key.
[Sidebar: M. Ubu loves Xander's feeble little point-to-the-TV protest so much that we usually have to rewind about five times every time we watch "Doomed."]
I'm pretty sure "motivational vampire" came out of our giggling over the Tony Robbins scene a couple of weeks ago.

And yes, that was "cornichon" good. But they always are! Are you going all the way up to Season 7? I'm gonna have to find myself a whole new bunch of superlatives between now and then. Edutainment is right!

Oh yeah, I'll definitely go to Season 7. When I first started writing them they were all jumbled up, season-wise, but I've kind of gotten stuck in Season 4. I can't get out!

My secret shame is that I always wanted to see a Spike/Giles vid set to IDKHTLM (acronym alert!) The Sarah Brightman version. From when Spike is forced to stay with Giles.

I can just see the longing glances and bitter recriminations. The many shots of Spike chained in the bathtub and lashed to chairs. I think a little Giles-in-a-sombrero action could probably fit in there somewhere too.
