I figure that virtually everyone on my flist watches this comm, but on the off chance that someone doesn't or perhaps missed my Cinco de Mayo margarita-fueled fiesta of flist-spamming last night, yesterday was my posting day over at [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy. You can find 75 (yeah, it seems excessive even to me) "Intervention"-inspired haiku right here if you're inclined to check them out. And now, I'm thinking that I might be ready for an intervention; my shower walls are covered in bath crayon babble, my hands have faded scribbles on them, and my illuminated pen burned out because I fell asleep while scrawling some completely unintelligible middle-of-the-night epiphany. Do they make a patch for this? I'm thinking that the squirrels in my attic are no longer just literal. ;)

I'm off to read. Woohoo! My working year ends in three days, and I have a backlog of bookmarked bounty to luxuriate in. I especially can't wait to backtrack through the entries for this round o' teh Seasonal Spuffy; the theme was Poetry (joy!), and there's been some amazing stuff.

Your offerings were amazing. I like the way your metaphorical attic squirrels took notes.

Aw, thank you so much! I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed them. I'm dying to go answer all the wonderful feedback that people have left, but I think that I should probably wait until I'm a little more rested and a little less caffeinated. Can you hear my teeth chattering through the interwebz? ;)

I had a much shorter writing window this time, so I've left a trail of scribbles, little notebooks, and printouts all over the house for the past couple of weeks. I'm gonna have to go gather them all up again before the child comes across something she shouldn't see!

You did very well, as they say on ARE YOU BEING SERVED.

Thank you, chica! It's a dismal time of year, busy-ness wise, but I'm very glad that I was able to produce something. I haven't haiku'd in six months, and I've missed it terribly.
