Is anybody going to the Slayage conference?

I saw a link to the Slayage conference on Whedonesque and wondered if anyone else is going.  When I originally saw that it's going to be in Arkansas this year, I literally I had to re-read the page five times.  Why all those nice people from the UK want to go to Arkadelphia boggles the mind, but hey, yay for me.  My friend E. is presenting a paper and Mr. and I are going to register as "independent scholars."  (Hee.)  We've already made arrangements to park Z. with the in-laws for the weekend (something that has happened exactly once in the past nine years), and we're ready to get our geek on.
